‘K’ Line adopts Veson platform

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (‘K’ Line) reports that it is implementing the Veson IMOS Platform as its new operations management system, aiming to replace multiple legacy platforms and support its wider digital transformation efforts.

IMOS integrates functions including chartering, cargo contracts, fuel management, and accounting, and will be used to support data-driven decision-making and improve operational efficiency across the company’s fleet.

‘K’ Line says that this move to a single unified platform is part of an effort to standardise workflows and respond more effectively to changing business conditions, transitioning from outdated internal processes to offer improved value to its customers.

The move is aligned with ‘K’ Line’s overall Medium-Term Management Plan, which includes digital transformation as a core element alongside safety, vessel quality control, and environmental targets.
