Lloyd’s Register (LR) and China Cruise Limited have signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement to support collaboration on cruise safety, technology development and digitalisation.
The agreement follows LR’s classification of Adora Magic City, China’s first domestically built large luxury cruise ship.
LR currently operates Cruise Centres of Expertise in China, the UK, Italy, and the US, supported by a team of more than 220 cruise surveyors delivering technical services across design, construction, operations, and management.
“We are pleased to establish a strategic partnership with Lloyd’s Register,” said Li Ming, General Manager of China Cruises and Chairman of Adora Cruise.
“This collaboration will further strengthen our technical capabilities and international operations, while fostering deeper cooperation in cruise safety, sustainability, and technological innovation.”
