Hyundai Glovis has agreed a partnership with fellow Korean company Lab021 to implement the Vessellink platform across its fleet, to support digitalisation of carbon emissions tracking and regulatory reporting.
The system, Vessellink for Ship, will be integrated into Hyundai Glovis’s operational workflows to automate the collection and reporting of vessel data, including real-time voyage monitoring and fuel consumption metrics.
The platform is designed to assist with compliance with regulations from the IMO and EU, including the FuelEU Maritime regulation and the phased inclusion of shipping in the EU Emissions Trading System.
A spokesperson for Hyundai Glovis said the company is “upgrading our data management to align with the maritime sector’s goals for decarbonisation and digital innovation,” noting that the collaboration with Lab021 will support both compliance and operational efficiency.
