Hefring Marine and Tocaro Blue have announced a new partnership to integrate their respective technologies and deliver improved real-time decision support for both manned and unmanned vessels.
The agreement will combine Hefring Marine’s IMAS speed guidance system with Tocaro Blue’s Radar perception software, aiming to provide better situational awareness and vessel handling through the application of AI, sensors, and predictive analytics.

“By combining our capabilities with Tocaro Blue’s advanced radar perception technology, we’re not just improving the system, we’re creating an entirely new level of maritime intelligence that can anticipate challenges before they become problems.”
The collaboration will focus on two main areas: real-time speed guidance based on impact force predictions, and radar-based collision avoidance. The systems will be jointly developed to use combined radar and operational data.

The integrated platform will be applicable to both traditional maritime operations and autonomous vessels, with the companies currently seeking early adopters to support implementation and testing.
