ZeroNorth has introduced a high-frequency data function within its Vessel Reporting platform, aimed at improving the accuracy and transparency of noon reports.
The system pre-fills key performance fields in the report with sensor data from the vessel, which is cleaned and aggregated before being displayed in a simplified format. Crew members can still make manual changes, but any edits remain visible to shore teams
ZeroNorth says this approach should reduce reporting time, lower the risk of errors, and provide greater transparency between owners, charterers and crews.
The company notes that the feature can integrate data from multiple sensor providers and cloud connections, allowing charterers with mixed fleets to adopt a single reporting system regardless of onboard equipment.
“As regulatory requirements tighten, the need for accurate and transparent vessel data has never been greater,” said Bjørn Ørving, VP of Product Innovation Operations at ZeroNorth.
“This feature directly addresses that challenge by reducing manual reporting effort, improving data quality, and ensuring that owners, charterers, and crews can trust the information they rely on to make decisions.”
The release follows the company’s launch earlier this year of a Data Health Score, designed to help users to measure and improve reporting quality.
