Anglo-Eastern has launched its new Sustainability and Performance Services (SAPS), a data-driven system designed to improve efficiency, manage emissions and comply with environmental regulations.
Developed in-house, SAPS combines vessel performance data, AI analytics and operational expertise. The system provides tools for compliance with requirements such as the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS), FuelEU, and the IMO’s Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII), while also identifying cost-saving opportunities across managed fleets.

The system has been tested across Anglo-Eastern’s managed fleet since 2023, covering more than 800 vessels and nearly 46,000 voyages. Over 4,300 crew members have been trained in vessel optimisation processes over that period, with performance data from more than 700,000 reports analysed.
The company says that this has crewted fuel savings of over 225,000 tonnes and CO₂ reductions exceeding 700,000 tonnes, equivalent to an estimated cost saving of around US$135 million.
The platform provides real-time voyage optimisation, predictive fuel consumption modelling, and compliance tracking within an integrated dashboard accessible to both shore-based and onboard teams.
It also includes modules for crew training, vessel inspection and optimisation, AI-enabled forecasting, charter performance analysis, paint performance assessment and environmental audit support.
