AD Ports Group has published a new report, Building Human-AI Teams: AD Ports Group’s Blueprint for Tomorrow’s Workforce, outlining how artificial intelligence is being embedded across its port and logistics operations to improve efficiency.
The Group said its AI-powered agents are helping to transform operations, handling repetitive and data-intensive tasks while allowing employees to focus on creativity and strategic decision-making.
“The workforce of tomorrow will be defined by synergy, humans and AI agents working side by side, each focusing on their unique strengths,” said Mohamed Jamal-Eddine, Group Chief Information Officer – AD Ports Group.
“While the past decade advanced digitisation and automation, the decade ahead belongs to agentic intelligence: AI that learns, adapts, and collaborates. This is not theory—it is already delivering results for us and many organisations harnessing the potential of agentic intelligence to redefine how industries operate and grow.”
AI applications already in use include a Vessel Speed Optimiser, which targets fuel savings of around 3%, and a Container Balancer, designed to increase container utilisation by up to 90%. Workforce management tools such as the Intelligent Workforce Scheduler have reduced processing times by over 90%.
