TOTE completes TOS upgrade across US terminal operations

Tideworks Technology reports that it has completed the deployment of its Mainsail 10 terminal operating system (TOS) across TOTE Maritime Alaska’s (TOTE) Anchorage operations, the completion of a multi-year modernisation initiative to unify its US operations on a new TOS platform.

With Anchorage’s go-live, TOTE has fully transitioned to Tideworks’ marine TOS across all of its Alaska and US mainland terminals, following deployments in Jacksonville in 2020 and Tacoma in 2024.

Mainsail 10 is a cloud-hosted TOS solution used to improve visibility, automate workflows, and streamline cargo management across terminals. The deployment is expected to deliver a unified view of operations across TOTE’s network.

“This is a big win for our operations and reflects the hard work and dedication of many key partners and team members across the organisation,” said said Joey Halverson, vice president of operations at TOTE Maritime Alaska.

“We’re proud to take this step forward in strengthening efficiency, consistency, and reliability throughout our network.”
