Coneksion has agreed a deal to integrate its container carrier connectivity technology into the Ship Angel platform, allowing the freight management system to provide direct data links with major container lines through a single interface.
Ship Angel aims to give shippers and BCOs improved visibility of bookings and documentation through direct connectivity to carriers including MSC, Maersk, CMA CGM, COSCO, OOCL, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, Evergreen Line, HMM, Yang Ming, ZIM, Wan Hai Lines and PIL, as well as additional carriers available through the Coneksion Common Carrier Layer.
The integration supports booking requests and confirmations, shipping instructions, VGM submissions, bills of lading, track and trace data and acknowledgements where available.
Ship Angel users will be able to exchange these operational messages directly with carriers through one connection, reducing the need to manage multiple integrations.
“Coneksion’s technology is built to simplify global data exchange in logistics. Partnering with Ship Angel demonstrates how our solutions can accelerate innovation and create value for shippers and BCOs alike,” said Jaakko Elovaara, CEO at Coneksion.
