V.Ships adopts OceanScore tech to manage EU compliance

V.Ships reports that it has adopted OceanScore’s Compliance Manager to support management of the EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime regulations across its fleet operations.

The company says the system will streamline compliance workflows and provide greater transparency as regulatory requirements continue to expand.

“As a leading, global third-party ship manager, we at V.Ships work with a wide range of owners across different segments,” said James Helliwell, Commercial Director at V.Ships.

“EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime have added substantial complexity to our role – and we are happy to work with OceanScore to help us navigate these challenges.”

OceanScore’s Compliance Manager will be integrated with the shipping company’s systems to automate emissions tracking, centralise compliance data, and support invoicing processes for both regulatory frameworks.

V.Ships says the technology will also provide real-time visibility on balances and exposure, with API-based data flows reducing manual inputs and minimising errors.

The partnership also extends to regulatory expertise and ongoing service support as requirements evolve.
