Norse Ship Management has expanded its use of Smart Ship Hub’s high-frequency sensor data and vessel performance platform as the company advances its data-driven approach to ship management.
Several Norse-managed vessels are now operating with Smart Ship Hub’s Vessel Reporting System for automated noon reporting, voyage performance monitoring tools and weather-based routing. Additional ships have been fitted with high-frequency sensor modules to support predictive maintenance, machinery condition monitoring, fuel and power analytics, emissions reporting and real-time diagnostics.
Norse says that the introduction of higher-frequency data streams, combined with data-quality tools, has allowed the company to consolidate daily operational information into a single framework covering noon reports, emissions submissions and machinery health monitoring.
The deployment is part of a wider move toward a unified operational dataset that will provide its shore teams with near-real-time visibility of equipment condition, voyage progress and performance trends.
