Knutsen LNG France has expanded its deployment of Syroco Live, rolling out the AI-powered voyage optimisation and weather routing platform across a fleet of 16 LNG carriers following a successful initial trial phase.
The collaboration began in 2024 with the installation of the platform on four LNG tankers. Knutsen said the initial rollout delivered improved voyage execution, and better decision support for crews and shore teams.
Syroco Live provides transparent performance monitoring adapted to specified cargo, speed, power and weather constraints, which can be particularly useful when applied to the complex charter party agreements LNG carriers often operate under.
The platform delivers real-time voyage optimisation using vessel-specific performance models combined with live operational data.
