Pulsar International acquires Navee Technology

Pulsar International has acquired a controlling interest in Istanbul-based Navee Technology to establish a new regional entity, Pulsar Türkiye.

The acquisition is intended to strengthen the company’s commercial maritime capabilities in the Eastern Mediterranean and Black Sea regions.

Navee Technology, which provides connectivity, Information Technology (IT) management, and marine electronics services, will now operate as part of Pulsar’s global network, with Volkan Kalin, the former Managing Director of Navee, set to continue leading the new entity while maintaining an ownership stake.

The move expands Pulsar’s service portfolio to include local expertise in Starlink Maritime installations, bridge electronics, and fleet management software.

“We couldn’t be more excited about this partnership. Volkan and his team have built something special in Türkiye – a company that genuinely puts customers first and backs it up with outstanding technical capabilities,” said Robert Sakker, President and CEO of Pulsar International.

“Together, we’re going to do great things for maritime operators throughout this region.”

Pulsar International currently operates global headquarters in Florida, with European offices now established in Greece, Cyprus, the Netherlands, and Turkey.
