Windward launches Maritime Intelligence Operations Centre

Windward has announced the opening of its Maritime Intelligence Operations Centre (MIOC), a dedicated facility designed to provide risk management intelligence for government agencies and commercial enterprises.

The centre integrates the company’s artificial intelligence tech with a team of analysts to monitor complex maritime environments.

The MIOC can offer services either on-site or remotely, and uses agentic technology to automate investigations, which Windward claims reduces the decision-making time by up to 80%.

The centre’s fusion model integrates multiple intelligence sources, including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery, digital signals, and Radio Frequency (RF) spectrum data, to identify evasion tactics used by bad actors.

“As maritime threats become more sophisticated all organisations must stay ahead of the curve,” said Ami Daniel, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Windward.

“We launched the Windward MIOC to serve as the ultimate mission partner, placing elite tradecraft and agentic AI at our customers’ service.”

The centre is currently operational and available via subscription for real-time monitoring or on an ad-hoc basis for specific projects.
