FPSO Ventures has agreed a deal with UniSea for management of safety, quality, and operational processes across its offshore fleet.
The Malaysian company, an affiliate of MISC Berhad, operates Floating Production Storage Offloading (FPSO), Floating Storage Offloading (FSO), and Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) vessels.
The digital platform includes modules for incident reporting, risk assessment, and document management. The Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) software provides real-time visibility into safety observations and corrective actions, allowing crew members to interact with the system using mobile devices.
“Safety is paramount in what we do at FPSO Ventures. Partnering with UniSea for their extensive HSEQ software solutions complements FPSO Ventures’ digitalisation transformation initiatives,” said Capt Stephen Sivaneswaren, Chief Operating Officer of FPSO Ventures.
The system also handles International Safety Management (ISM) Code documentation and Safety Management System (SMS) manuals. Updates are distributed automatically to users, with electronic tracking to ensure crew members have read the latest approved procedures.
