StormGeo launches upgraded fleet performance advisory

StormGeo has announced the launch of its Premium Fleet Performance Center Service, aiming to assist shipowners and managers in leveraging vessel data for operational and compliance improvements.

The new offering adds an expert advisory layer to the existing monitoring capabilities within the s-Insight platform.

The service includes quarterly data quality reviews to support compliance with several regulatory frameworks, including the International Maritime Organization Data Collection System (IMO DCS), the Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII), and European Union Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (EU MRV). It also covers requirements for the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) and FuelEU Maritime.

Technical performance reviews within the service identify optimisation opportunities for main and auxiliary engine usage, trim, and boiler efficiency, combining benchmarking methodologies with gap analysis to provide customised reports tailored to specific vessel types and operational priorities.

“Shipping companies are navigating an increasingly complex environment – from tightening emissions regulations to rising fuel costs,” said Petter Andersen, Vice President Shipping at StormGeo.

“With our Premium Fleet Performance Center Service, we provide proactive quarterly reviews of both data quality and vessel performance and tailored recommendations that help customers close performance gaps and strengthen compliance.”
