HarborLab and Danaos Management Consultants have partnered to deliver automated port cost management services, integrating the HarborLab platform directly with Danaos’ Port Expenses Module, Voyage Estimation, and Protocol systems.
The new integration will enable real-time data synchronisation between the respective applications to streamline the process from port call initiation to expense approvals and financial reporting.
“Danaos is the most widely adopted ERP system in the Greek shipping market, and we are excited to announce the successful completion of our first full integration between our systems,” said Antonis Malaxianakis, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of HarborLab.
“This milestone partnership with Danaos enables our clients to fully automate their port cost management processes, achieve faster sign-offs, and gain real-time visibility into their financial operations.”
The integration allows port call details to be automatically transferred to the HarborLab platform for agency appointments. Once confirmed, expense approvals and allocations are synchronised back into the Danaos system. The Protocol Module integration further supports invoice-checking workflows and provides real-time access to financial data for accrual closure.
“Our partnership with HarborLab represents our commitment in offering a complete ecosystem of capabilities to the maritime community. By integrating our platforms, we are enhancing operational efficiency and also providing our clients with the necessary tools to navigate the complexities of modern shipping, ultimately driving collaboration, innovation, and growth in the industry,” said Nikolas Theodosiou, Chief Executive Officer at Danaos Management Consultants.
