TB Marine Shipmanagement (Riga) to roll out electronic logbooks across fleet

TB Marine Shipmanagement (Riga) is preparing to roll out SERTICA Logbook across its fleet of eight vessels following a successful trial.

The company is adopting a phased approach by initially implementing the system on two vessels to ensure a smooth transition and allow crews time to adapt to the digital format.

The rollout is built on a practical and scalable setup where installations are prepared centrally. To support the fleet-wide implementation, the company recorded training sessions from the first vessel to assist crews as they begin using the technology.

“The industry is increasingly moving toward electronic records, and with SERTICA, we now have a system that works reliably onboard,” said Captain Andris Benefelds of TB Marine Shipmanagement (Riga).

“After testing SERTICA Logbook on two vessels for more than a year, the feedback from the crews has been very positive, particularly on usability.”
