Navarino has announced a collaboration with Signal Fusion to utilise its human-factor risk visibility system to help shipping companies identify early indicators of crew-readiness concerns before they develop into safety or operational issues.
The technology has been developed specifically to help maritime operators detect and assess early readiness signals derived from voice, narrative, behaviour, and operational context. The platform is not designed to score, penalise, or exclude seafarers, but is instead intended to reduce the gap between weak human-factor signals and responsible operational action.
Through the collaboration, Navarino says that maritime operators will benefit from greater visibility into crew readiness across fleets, earlier identification of safety-relevant readiness concerns, and better insight into communication, coordination, and escalation patterns.
The technology also provides more timely intervention before stress or fatigue affects safe performance, while improving alignment between human readiness, operational reliability, and safety management.
