Port cost management platform HarborLab has launched a new feature to automate the creation of Disbursement Accounts (DAs) from proforma to final, reducing the manual task of DA creation to a single click.
With the Single-Click Port Expenses DA Creator, an agent selects the terminal and enters the agency fee. The platform automatically populates all associated port expenses based on the latest port tariffs. The agent then uploads the physical DA alongside any supporting documents to complete the file for approval.
The feature draws from a port cost dataset built by HarborLab from its historical processing of hundreds of thousands of port calls, covering 1,400 ports with live tariff data.

The autofill feature calculates full disbursement costs across standard categories for bulkers and tankers using either an International Maritime Organization (IMO) number or vessel particulars, including port dues, towage, pilotage, mooring, and light dues.
