Veson Nautical has launched the Veson Platform, a unified system that integrates its range of applications under a single AI-powered interface.
The new environment centralises the Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS), the CoCaptain AI layer, Veson Mail, and newly released data products Vessel Insights and Bunker Insights.
The company says that the platform is designed to provide a single operational framework for shipowners, operators, charterers, and commodity traders, embedding context-aware AI directly alongside the core system of record.
“Technology should give people back their judgment, not replace it,” said John Veson, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Veson Nautical.
“When a system understands the context of your business, it can anticipate what you need and surface it in the moment – and because we’re building it as an open, adaptable foundation, it fits the way the industry actually works.”
Within the unified platform, the company’s core IMOS freight management system remains accessible with its standard functionalities, supplemented by newly released features for voyage management and operations.
CoCaptain, which Veson initially launched to support maritime claims, has been expanded into an interactive AI layer across the entire platform. The tool provides conversational access to voyage data, historical port calls, and counterparty insights via a natural-language chat interface.
The company’s Connect system has also been expanded to include AI-powered email. Veson Mail automatically classifies, tags, and organises communications to pull commercial information directly into the platform interface.
The email capability is included for IMOS clients at no cost for up to 1 million emails.
The new Vessel Insights and Bunker Insights tools aggregate data from sources including VesselsValue, Q88, and Shipfix. Vessel Insights tracks more than 300 data fields across 65,000 vessels, while Bunker Insights applies machine learning models to hundreds of thousands of historical fuel transactions to deliver daily price predictions across 1,300 ports.
The company says that the foundational platform is available immediately to current IMOS clients upon request, with subsequent analytics updates and data products scheduled for phased release before the end of the year.
