GSTS rebrands as OCIANA ahead of maritime intelligence expansion

Global Spatial Technology Solutions (GSTS) has rebranded as OCIANA, adopting the name of its flagship maritime intelligence platform.

The Montreal-based company said the rebrand aligns with the planned expansion of OCIANA beyond maritime domain awareness into predictive maritime intelligence and coordination capabilities.

OCIANA provides real-time data and predictive capabilities for maritime supply chain organisations alongside existing port and voyage management systems, including vessel speed and port readiness coordination, arrival forecasting and congestion monitoring.

The company plans to expand the platform’s AI capabilities with multi-sensor fusion, intelligence workflows and collaboration between agencies and partners.

OCIANA will also be expanded for supply chain users to provide a shared real-time view across ports, shipping lines and pilotage authorities, with functions including berth scheduling, booking and pilot requests, pre-arrival notifications and coordinated voyage plans.
