Maritime cybersecurity firm Port-IT reports that it has updated its Endpoint security systems with new Vulnerability Management capabilities.
This add-on aims to support maritime organisations in actively detecting and addressing potential vulnerabilities in the software that they use, strengthening their cyber resilience. The system has also been designed to help users comply with the new IACS UR E26 and E27 regulations for newbuild ships.
An automated vulnerability scanning feature provides an additional layer of security to organisations that want to stop threats from out-of-date operating systems and applications, and shows the status of endpoints, subscriptions, vulnerabilities and patches.
The software also integrates with Port-IT’s Security Operations Center (SOC), to support real-time monitoring and response to emerging threats.
The new functionality will be included as a free add-on for clients of the company’s Endpoint security package.
