BASS updates inventory management application

Maritime ERP provider BASS Software has launched an updated version of its BASSnet Inventory App, to improve onboard stock management and procurement processes.

The new application supports digital stock management on site, allowing users to view and update stock details from their mobile devices, with all stock updates synced with the BASSnet database.

“The BASSnet Inventory App is a beneficial mobile solution for streamlining onboard stock-taking processes and improving inventory accuracy,” said Per Steinar Upsaker, CEO and Managing Director at BASS Software.

“Users can say goodbye to manual stock-takes and data entry errors. The app ensures precise inventory records with a simple scan on site.”

“We’ve fully revamped the app to enable crew members easily manage materials, track purchase orders, and create draft requisitions, all from their mobile devices. The app’s user interface is also standardised with the integrated BASSnet Fleet Management Systems for a smooth and intuitive experience.”

The app also offers configurable material lists and working lists to cater to the specific needs of the user, with the ability to create and view draft requisitions on-the-go. Systematic PO status updates and delivery tracking throughout the goods receipt stage is additionally supported.
