ClassNK ZETA adds NAPA Fleet Intelligence modules for performance monitoring

NAPA has expanded its collaboration with ClassNK to offer Fleet Intelligence modules via the ClassNK ZETA platform, to support improved regulatory compliance and operational performance monitoring.

NAPA Fleet Intelligence provides cloud-based tools for ship performance analysis, voyage optimisation and compliance tracking. ClassNK ZETA, the Zero Emission Transition Accelerator, is used by shipowners to manage greenhouse gas emissions and meet regulatory requirements. The integration allows users to access NAPA’s capabilities directly within ZETA using existing data submissions, removing the need for duplicate reporting.

The combined system supports a single login and unified data stream, so performance analytics and compliance simulations can be performed in one platform. Users can track KPIs, model future compliance scenarios, and manage emissions data more efficiently.

New functionality also includes the ability to request EU Allowances (EUAs) for the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) directly through the platform, and to apply NAPA and ClassNK’s optimisation algorithms to reduce potential FuelEU Maritime penalties.

Users can simulate the impact of upcoming voyages on FuelEU, EU ETS and Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) metrics, using ship performance models and weather routing tools.

Vessels using noon report-based data will have access to modules including FuelEU and CII voyage simulations, voyage optimisation, performance tables, technical performance, and fleet-level views. For ships using voyage report-style data, FuelEU, CII, and optimisation modules are available.
