Accelleron partners with LAB021 for Korean expansion

Accelleron has agreed a partnership with maritime software developer LAB021 to extend the reach of its LOREKA360° digital platform among Korean shipbuilders, owners, and operators.

The agreement authorises LAB021 to offer Accelleron’s digital technologies to its customer base and will also see Accelleron promote LAB021’s Vessellink software to its network. Both companies will also work together to enhance integration across their platforms.

Under the new agreement, three LOREKA360°modules will be integrated with LAB021’s systems: Tekomar XPERT Engine, for assessing and advising on engine performance; Emissions Desk, for compliance reporting and emissions reduction insights; and OptiHull, which combines voyage and vessel data to plan hull cleanings based on condition, route, and potential fuel savings.

“Accelleron’s complementary digital offer will add further value to Vessellink users, and users of LOREKA360° will find opportunities in integrating our state-of-the-art ship management system,” said LAB021 CEO Lee Sang-Bong.

“We are excited to join Accelleron in working towards a more holistic, integrated approach to digitalisation that allows ship operators to use each platform to its full advantage.”
