Zeabuz has joined the Nordic Defence and Security Cluster (NORDSEC) to strengthen collaboration on autonomous technologies for maritime applications.
The company said the membership will provide an opportunity to engage with defence stakeholders, research institutions and operators, and to align its development efforts with operational needs in the sector.
Zeabuz develops vessel autonomy systems designed to maximise independence from continuous communication links, allowing a single operator to monitor and control multiple vessels simultaneously.
“Membership in NORDSEC provides us with an important arena for collaboration and sharing knowledge across the defence and security industry,” said Øyvind Smogeli, CEO of Zeabuz.
“We see a growing need for autonomous solutions in future maritime operations, and through the cluster we aim both to contribute our expertise and learn. Together we can accelerate innovation and deliver solutions that strengthen preparedness at sea.”
