SMT Shipping adds digital tools to streamline reporting

SMT Shipping reports that it has begun using Spinergie’s Smart Fleet Management (SFM) reporting tools on approximately 30 vessels to reduce crew workloads and improve data accuracy across its global operations.

The system is designed to standardise data entry and includes built-in quality checks, removing the need for crews to repeatedly input identical information into multiple report formats.

Data entered once can be shared automatically with internal teams, charterers, weather routing providers, and verifiers as required.

SMT Shipping operates a fleet of more than 60 vessels across global bulk markets and says that crew feedback has been positive, noting quicker workflows and reduced duplication of effort.
