Cetasol, a Swedish maritime technology firm, has launched Ceta AI, an Artificial Intelligence (AI) agent designed to convert operational data into actionable insights for vessel operators.
The tool acts as an intelligent layer between raw information and the user, identifying trends and anomalies to reduce the need for manual data processing.
The agent is designed to work with customer-specific operational data rather than generic datasets. The company says it can proactively identify patterns, deviations, and potential improvements, and continuously learns from historical data and ongoing interactions to adapt to changing operational conditions.
The system is intended to build on the maritime intelligence foundation of the company’s existing products, such as the iHelm platform.
The launch follows a framework agreement signed earlier this month to deploy Cetasol technology across the 120-vessel fleet of the offshore support provider Aesen, with installations scheduled to begin in 2026.
