Clear Carbon and Sea have partnered to integrate shipping emissions data into enterprise carbon reporting and forecasting application workflows. The collaboration aims to support organisations in integrating specialised maritime accounting for Scope 1 and Scope 3 emissions directly into the Clear Carbon platform.
The integrated approach is designed to help organisations in regulated markets, such as Australia, meet mandatory climate disclosure requirements.
“Shipping emissions shouldn’t be treated as a separate factor in broader carbon strategies,” said Peter Schroder, Chief Executive Officer of Sea.
“This partnership brings them directly into core enterprise workflows, giving organisations confidence, clarity and control over maritime carbon as part of their wider decision-making.”
Sea’s carbon management tools are developed around the Sea Cargo Charter framework. They combine voyage and fuel information with Automatic Identification System (AIS) tracking and verified noon reports to allow chartering teams to assess vessel performance before and during contracts.
Clear Carbon provides a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that includes financial and sustainability data.
