Carga upgrades bulk liquid cargo management platform

Maritime tech firm Carga has launched OceanSMART 2.0, an upgrade to its bulk liquid cargo management platform designed to improve speed and reliability for operations teams.

“OceanSMART 2.0 is built for the teams who demand operational excellence at every level,” said Charles Riley, Chief Executive Officer of Carga.

“In an industry where demurrage costs are unforgiving, and miscommunication can result in costly delays, the platform’s updated capabilities are engineered to remove friction from everyday workflows and provide a more dependable foundation for what’s coming next.”

The upgrade features faster performance for core workflows and reduced load times for high-traffic pages. The analytics module has been rebuilt to provide advanced reporting tools for daily operational use, while data visualisation has also been optimised to allow teams to manage large datasets without lag.

The platform is intended for use by charterers, vessel operators, marine assurance and compliance teams, and terminal operators. Real-time collaboration features synchronise updates across shared users instantly to keep distributed teams aligned.
