Evergreen to expand eBL reach through WaveBL integration

Evergreen is to expand its use of electronic Bills of Lading (eBL) through an integration with WaveBL, connecting its existing iBL service to the WaveBL digital trade network.

Evergreen has operated its own iBL service since 2018 and is targeting 100% eBL adoption by 2030.

The integration will allow electronic Bills of Lading to be issued, transferred and managed through the WaveBL application, giving Evergreen access to shippers, freight forwarders, consignees and other trade participants already using the network.

The integration is compliant with Digital Container Shipping Association (DCSA) standards and is intended to support interoperability between electronic documentation systems.
