Hanseaticsoft integrates with iMarine procurement platform

Maritime software provider Hanseaticsoft and has announced a partnership with e-procurement firm iMarine Software to integrate their respective platforms and assist users in improving the efficiency of their purchasing processes.

Hanseaticsoft offers a Cloud-based management system for shipping companies, Cloud Fleet Manager (CFM), incorporating modules for workflows across different departments, including a procurement module called CFM Purchase. iMarine Software’s online procurement platform SeaProc, also Cloud-based, is used to manage orders and purchases between buyers and some 50,000 vendors.

Following the new agreement, SeaProc will be directly integrated into CFM Purchase to streamline processes for customers using both services. Requests created in CFM Purchase and the corresponding offers generated by SeaProc will be automatically exchanged between the two systems using APIs, removing the need to switch between applications or to enter data twice.

“We are very happy to have found a new partner who shares our mission to provide software solutions to the maritime industry that are intuitive and easy to use, while increasing efficiency,” said Alexander Buchmann, CEO, Hanseaticsoft.

“Innovative Cloud-based solutions are now being embraced within the maritime industry, which enable companies to optimise the management of their entire fleet and automate fundamental processes.”

“Having iMarine Software as a partner and building the SeaProc platform into our state-of-the-art CFM contributes significantly to the overall purpose of improving business performance, increasing operational efficiencies, and ultimately, profitability.”
