Finland-based Youredi has launched a new service to assist shipping industry stakeholders in connecting with carriers and other third parties to receive harmonised track and trace data for all container events directly into their IT systems.
The Rapids T&T service will form part of the existing Youredi Rapids line focused on a range of data integration challenges common for the maritime logistics industry.
The new technology collects data from different sources and endpoints for collation within the end-user’s systems, harmonised where required and linked with add-ons such as notification alerts or deviation management. The system is deployed on top of Youredi’s integration platform as a service (iPaaS), which the company says can connect with any party, regardless of technical capabilities and systems in place.
“Youredi T&T is a data connectivity solution based on our unique technologies, so it is not another screen scraping tool but a solution enabling an exchange of vital information between parties in near real-time,” said Jaakko Elovaara, CEO of Youredi.
“The solution is carrier-neutral, so whether you work with top 10 carriers such as MSC, Maersk, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, COSCO, ONE, Evergreen, Yang Ming, HMM, and ZIM, or any other carrier, you will be able to track all the events and get T&T data in the format of your choice.”
