North Star Holdco Group is to implement the SERTICA Fleet Management System from Logimatic to support the operation of all 47 vessels in its fleet (three of which are newbuilds), including ships for North Star Renewables and Boston Putford Offshore Safety.
North Star Holdco Group specialises in the management of service operation, offshore support, tanker assist and emergency response and rescue vessels. Its contract with Logimatic comprises SERTICA’s Maintenance, Procurement and HSQE software modules.
The firm is currently operating 44 vessels, with 30 of them converted to SERTICA earlier this year, 14 to be completed by the end of 2021 and three new SOV’s to be installed during 2022/23. These three new vessels will also integrate the software with a Digital Twin infratructure to perform preventive maintenance.
“The system will integrate across all areas of the business, both offshore and onshore, streamlining processes and centralising information,” said Bruce Catto, Group IT Manager at North Star Holdco Group.
“SERTICA will help to digitalise our internal processes and speed up the approval flow throughout the organisation.”
