Remøy Shipping extends VesselMan deal to whole fleet

Remøy Shipping has signed a fleet agreement to outfit all of its ships with the VesselMan software package, the companies have announced.

“VesselMan has provided us with a state-of-the-art tool for project planning, cost control and analysis,” said Pål-Andreas Alnes, CFO of Remøy Shipping.

“We have been using VesselMan for some time now and are very impressed with the possibilities offered by the solution. The insights we get from VesselMan will form an important basis for our negotiations with shipyards and suppliers.”

Remøy Group is mainly active in the oil and gas industry as a long-term owner of OSVs, with an additional ship management business through its Remøy Shipping subsidiary.

“We are really looking forward to collaborating with a leading management company for offshore service vessels like Remøy Shipping. With their complexity they can take full advantage of VesselMan’s solutions and achieve a good return of investment,” added Lene Normann Olsen, CCO at VesselMan.
