Maritime software developer Helm Operations has signed a new integration partnership with Moxie Media to support crew training.
Moxie Media creates maritime training programmes to meet safety, health, security, maintenance, and regulatory compliance mandates from USCG and IMO. The new partnership formalises the integration of its shipboard Learning Management System (LMS) with Helm CONNECT, which will provide customers from each organisation with access to both systems.
The Helm CONNECT software platform offers cloud-based access to management applications for fleet maintenance, regulatory compliance, personnel management, dispatching and billing. It includes a personnel certification tracking module that can now be connected to the Moxie LMS, allowing users to prove employee and vessel compliance.
An auditable record of training completed within the LMS will also be available within the system, with notifications from Helm prompting users to access the Moxie LMS to complete training as required.
