Corsica Ferries upgrades to web-based PMS

Corsica Ferries has completed an upgrade of its roll-on/roll-off ferry fleet management software, moving to the web-based version of the Infoship application from Arribatec Marine

The web-based software is the latest version of the Infoship planned maintenance system (PMS), with the migration project covering installations at Corsica Ferries’ Savona headquarters as well as 13 ferries in the fleet.

The processes covered by the system upgrade include maintenance (planned, preventative and corrective) of the onboard equipment of the entire fleet, as well as the management of ship certificates and non-conformities in compliance with the ISM code.

The next phase of the project is expected to see the Procurement and Logistic module also migrated to a newer version, for better integration with other systems in use at Corsica Ferries.

The original version of Infoship was first installed by Corsica Ferries some 15 years ago and is used for organising and monitoring of various management processes by both the team ashore and onboard staff.
