Teekay Tankers has signed an agreement with Risk Intelligence of Denmark, for access to the Risk Intelligence System as well as operational intelligence consultancy support.

Teekay’s tanker operations are managed out of Singapore, where it will have direct access to the Risk Intelligence Singapore Office and Analysts.

The MaRisk + PortRisk service will deliver maritime intelligence to improve Teekay Tankers’s security capabilities, with access to regularly updated threat assessments, incident alerts, and Risk Intelligence 24/7 Duty Watch.

“Teekay Tankers are a great addition to our Singapore client list, with their focus on quality they fit in well with our expanding core maritime cohort,” said Jim Pascoe, CCO of Risk Intelligence.

“We have been providing ad-hoc security reports for some time now, so to have the endorsement of a Risk Intelligence System license subscription is a great feather in the cap of both our advisory services and analytical teams.”

“We are looking forward to working with the professionals in the Teekay Tankers team and supporting them in their ongoing successful operations.”
