International Andromeda Shipping, based in Monaco, has signed a new collaboration agreement with fleet management software provider Arribatec Marine.
Arribatec Marine, provider of the Infoship software system, will deliver its application to assist the vessel operator in optimising the control and management of maintenance and purchasing for two tankers. The units involved in the project are part of the fleet owned by Planets Investments and under the technical management of International Andromeda.
The tanker vessels will be equipped with the latest version of Infoship, including modules for Maintenance Management and Procurement, Logistics and Inventory, which will be used to optimise the management of onboard machinery components, including spare parts, to improve the efficiency of maintenance processes.
Digitalising these workflows will also provide improved visibility of operations to both onshore and onboard personnel, facilitating the creation of a shared and traceable flow of information, the companies said.
