Global Ship Lease adopts Ankeri platform

Container vessel owner Global Ship Lease (GSL) has announced a strategic partnership with maritime software company Ankeri Solutions, with the goal of implementing Ankeri’s application platform to digitalise workflows.

The collaboration also aims to improve data-sharing capabilities with liner operators for the company’s fleet of 68 mid-sized container vessels.

“Decarbonisation and digitisation are two big, overlapping challenges and opportunities facing our industry,” said Thomas Lister, CEO of Global Ship Lease.

“We are impressed with Ankeri’s holistic approach to data consolidation, standardisation, and integration across technical, commercial, and vessel performance functions. We believe that having timely, accessible, and actionable data will be increasingly critical to optimising the energy efficiency of our fleet and meeting the needs of our customers, the liner operators.”

“Partnering with Ankeri will help GSL stay ahead of the curve with best-in-class, dynamic software solutions to meet the evolving data-sharing demands from both customers and regulatory authorities.”
