ORBCOMM has announced the release of its latest reefer container monitoring system, the CT 3600.
The new system has been streamlined to help simplify installation, deployment and management of reefer IoT applications compared to previous versions, with installation support available via an iOS and Android app.
The CT 3600 is installed in and cabled from the reefer controller cabinet without the need for drilling, and features an internal rechargeable battery and wireless Bluetooth sensor support.
The company says that the unit works with refrigerated containers from all four major OEMs and is compliant with DCSA interoperability standards.
