Ideagen and MHG partner on healthcare for maritime

Ideagen and Maritime and Healthcare Group (MHG) have agreed a partnership to deliver an integrated safety, compliance, and healthcare management system for maritime operators, combining Ideagen’s compliance software with MHG’s healthcare services network.

The collaboration aims to centralise healthcare and regulatory operations for cruise lines, offshore platforms, and commercial vessels under a single agreement, offering access to MHG’s network of more than 5,000 healthcare professionals and 900 global medical facilities.

The system will provide support for tasks including crew health checks, medical record management, inventory control, and compliance with standards such as HIPAA and GDPR, while also offering access to MHG’s telemedicine, mental health support, and onshore case management services.

“The maritime industry rightly demands the highest standards when it comes to the recruitment and selection of the healthcare professionals needed to deliver care at sea,” said Sylvina Nolte, Chief Operating Officer at MHG.

“This partnership allows businesses to address these critical challenges seamlessly. Our combined services make it easier than ever for organisations to focus on their core operations while ensuring robust support for their crew and passengers.”
