GSTS expands collaborative optimisation system to Europe

Maritime AI company GSTS has announced plans to make its OCIANA platform available in the European market, featuring a new AI-powered Collaborative Optimisation Solution designed to support real-time coordination between ships, ports, terminals, pilotage authorities, and waterway operators.

The OCIANA platform ingests real-time satellite, operational, oceanographic, and sensor data, using proprietary algorithms to support decision-making in shipping and port operations.

GSTS says the latest version of the system will support digital planning and collaboration on a shared platform, enabling real-time optimisation of berth schedules, lock transits, anchorage use, and resource management.

Other applications include ice jam prediction, environmental performance tracking, and compliance monitoring.

“We are pleased to expand our offering on a global scale. We continue to develop and validate capabilities with leading industry organisations and customers,” said Richard Kolacz, GSTS CEO.

“OCIANA’s Collaborative Optimisation Solution enables the implementation of global Green Digital Trade Corridors and enables users to respond in real-time to dynamic environmental, geo-political or physical events. We are proud to be the first company in the world demonstrating this solution connecting multiple global stakeholders on a common, trusted platform and providing benefits to ships, ports, terminals, pilotage authorities, and waterways.”
