SES has completed its acquisition of Intelsat to create a single operator with a combined network of 120 satellites.
The two organisations have a combined reported contract backlog of approximately €8 billion, with 2024 revenue of €3.7 billion.
The combined SES group now operates around 90 GEO (geostationary) satellites and nearly 30 MEO (medium earth orbit) satellites, supported by a global ground network and multi-band spectrum including C-, Ku-, Ka-, X-band, and UHF.
SES will remain headquartered in Luxembourg, with its North American base in McLean, Virginia.
