Windward and SGTraDex collaborate on digitalisation of trade finance

Windward reports that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Singapore’s SGTraDex to collaborate on the development of new digital tools to support due diligence, compliance, and decision-making in maritime trade finance.

SGTraDex operates as a government-backed data-sharing platform that supports digital connections between stakeholders in trade and logistics. Windward’s maritime AI tools are used by organisations including shipowners, banks and insurers to support risk analysis and operational planning.

The agreement will combine Windward’s maritime risk applications with SGTraDex’s national trade data infrastructure to improve information sharing across the supply chain ecosystem.

The companies also plan to co-develop systems to improve transparency, connectivity, and operational efficiency across trade finance networks.

“This partnership with SGTraDex represents a significant step forward in our mission to transform global trade through advanced AI and digital connectivity,” said Ami Daniel, CEO and Co-Founder of Windward.
