Guaran Feeder has agreed a deal with AST Reygar to implement the BareFLEET vessel monitoring and reporting system across its fleet of river tugs operating on the Paraguay–Paraná waterway.
The company becomes the first operator in the region to use the system, which will provide real-time fuel and emissions monitoring, automated daily reporting and fleet-wide performance analysis.
BareFLEET will be integrated with existing platforms, including Helm CONNECT, to support efficiency improvements and compliance tracking.
Guaran Feeder says the use of the software will simplify daily reporting for crews while allowing shore teams to analyse tug performance across different river sections and compare operational efficiency across the fleet. The company is also progressing with certification of its SEEMP energy efficiency plan with RINA.
