Procureship has partnered with Copenhagen-based climate data company ReFlow to launch a Scope 3 emissions reporting system integrated into its e-procurement platform.
The new ‘EmissionPassport’ system is designed to help shipping companies prepare for EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) requirements by providing product-level emissions data across procurement value chains.
The tool will offer a structured method for shipping companies to collect and verify data relevant to the hundreds of suppliers typically used to purchase products across large fleets.
“Shipowners and operators are managing increasingly complex data challenges as they prepare for new climate reporting requirements,” said Mogens Thyssen, Chief Commercial Officer at ReFlow.
“By embedding ReFlow’s Scope 3 data capabilities within Procureship, we’re making it easier for maritime players to access structured, science-based climate data that supports long-term compliance and transparency.”

Procureship notes that the tool provides traceable Scope 3 insights to support both internal climate assessments and external reporting, though this information does not directly lead to recommendations on purchasing decisions within the platform.
The system also supports alignment with industry standards through collaboration with the International Marine Purchasing Association (IMPA) and its Maritime Environmental Footprint (IMEF) initiative.
