Marguisa adds tracking tech to dry container fleet

Marguisa Shipping Lines has begun the implementation of using tracking technology from Hoopo across its dry container fleet to improve visibility and provide customers with real-time information and greater reliability in global logistics operations.

Hoopo’s tracking systems provide real-time location data and alerts for events such as unauthorised door openings or shocks, to safeguard cargo integrity and reduce manual follow-ups.

“Digitising our dry container fleet allows us to anticipate challenges, create efficiencies, and give our clients the confidence that their cargo is always under control,” said Andrés Cadenas, Container Liner Service Manager at Marguisa.

Marguisa, part of the Sea & Port Group, operates regular services between the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, South America, Asia and the Middle East, serving destinations in West Africa.
