Accelleron and Hyundai Marine Solution agree digital partnership

Accelleron has signed an agreement with Hyundai Marine Solution (HMS), the digital division of HD Hyundai Group, to collaborate on digital technologies supporting vessel performance and operational optimisation.

The partnership will see closer integration between HMS’s ship management and AI-based emissions monitoring systems, Integrated Smart Ship Solution ISS 2.0 and OceanWise, and Accelleron’s digital platforms for engine and turbocharger performance.

Accelleron’s LOREKA360° Tekomar XPERT Engine and Turbo Insights systems will be offered through HMS to existing and future Hyundai-built ships, offering real-time analytics for engine health, turbocharger performance and emissions control.

The cooperation covers both newbuild and in-service vessels, focusing on improved interoperability and efficiency across the firms’ respective digital tools.

“Through this partnership, we will help ship owners and operators achieve a new level of operational efficiency not only for ships built at HD Hyundai but also ships in operation,” said Choi Bong-Jun, Head of HD Hyundai Marine Solution’s Digital Technology Centre.

“We are confident that our strategic cooperation with Accelleron will create new opportunities for our customers.”
